Girls Swimming and Diving at the Woodland Conference Tournament

The Brown Deer/University School girls swimming and diving team took 7th place in the Woodland Conference Tournament on Saturday, October 27th at Greenfield High School.

BD/USM’s best finish was for 5th place in the 12 team meet.  The BD/USM quartet of Mckenna Frede, Abby Frenkel, Mira Giles-Pufahl, and Amanda Hoppe took 5th place in the 200 yard Freestyle Relay.  They finished the race with a time of 1:51.26.

Giles-Pufahl, Hoppe, Frede, and Frenkel also took 7th place in the 400 yard Freestyle Relay event.  They finished the race with a time of 4:03.53.

Frede placed 9th in the 100 yard Breaststroke race.  She had a time of 1:19.48 in the event. 

BD/USM also earned a 9th place finish in the 500 yard Freeestyle event.  Hoppe completed the distance with a time of 6:00.21.  Giles-Pufahl’s time of 6:20.60 earned her 14th place in the race.

Frenkel finished 11th in the 100 yard Freestyle race.  Her time in the event was 58.55 seconds.

Frenkel had another 11th place finish in the 200 yard Individual Medley event.  Her time in the race was 26.59 seconds.

Hoppe’s time of 2:15.83 gave her 12th place in the 200 yard Freestyle race.

BD/USM continues the championship portion of its season when it competes in the Ashwaubenon  Sectional of the WIAA Division 2 state tournament on Saturday, November 3rd at Ashwaubenon High School beginning at noon.
